Nole Gear Everywhere

Well, another rough weekend for our poor Noles. Loosing is becoming more and more normal which is something, we as Noles are not used too. However, I did have a new accessory to add to my Nole wardrobe this past weekend, at least one thing at the game was looking good since it clearly was not the team or coaching staff.
I wanted a new and improved form of Nole gear, so I decided to take an old ticket I had, and assemble it into a wristlet that is permitted inside stadiums. I took the ticket and used fabric glue and placed it on a red sparkly material, after that I used a piece of velcro to allow access into the wristlet, finally I put a strap on the wristlet so it would be easy to carry. I assembled this and then tested it out to ensure durability. It was durable and fashionable a double win!
This was a composed assemblage. I define composing as taking ideas and structuring them into texts or physical items. I took a ticket and wanted to compose something different from it, so I composed it into a wristlet with the help of a few other items to help make my assemblage.
My assemblage was a form of effective communication because it presented a clearly organized design that an audience would be able to engage with and understand without extensive thought. The design was effective and well thought out because I designed it around items that were permitted inside college football stadiums.
Almost all of our class key terms were present in my project. My genre was the wristlet itself, my audience was any girl or boy who wanted a fashionable but functional accessory for the games, my design as mentioned above was thought out particularly for my intended audience.
Reuse and design were present in this project because we were reusing a text, an item, a song and making it into a new design that alters its meaning and use into something new. Reassembling things can be hard but the outcome is neat, this project allowed students to think outside the box.
Can not wait to rock my wristlet this coming Saturday as the Noles take on Syracuse at our home stadium!
